Running

I’m running and running and getting no where.
I’m constantly moving and it’s not quite fair.
Can’t get any rest; Still no sleep can I find.
If things don’t slow down, I may soon lose my mind.

This world flies along and at such a fast pace!
And once you get sucked in, you’re stuck in the race.
This race has no first place, nor second, nor third.
This race is called life, just in case you’ve not heard.

I see that you’re running the same place as me.
I know how to cut down some difficulty.
Come run along side me in this race so fast.
And one day we’ll walk once this fast pace has passed.
